Nose Raspberries and cream. Dried oak soaked in red wine. Stone fruit is deeply rooted in the complexity. Dr. Pepper over an ice cube, where the proof on the nose imitates effervescence. Brandied cherries.

Palate Oak, brown sugar, and caramel starts on the front palate. Then, a freshly poured cherry cola emerges. Dark chocolate. The considerable viscosity adds to some mild notes of brandied cherry that travels from the nose in the form of a syrupy flavor.

Finish Toasted oak. Spicy Coca Cola. More than any other aspect of the whiskey, the finish forces you to think about the Heaven Hill mash bill -- how it transforms wildly as the whiskey ages, from mild and nutty to enthusiatic and complex.
