Nose Buttercream and vanilla are the most notable aromas. Underneath, there is a layer of nutty nougat. A mild scent of baking chocolate breaks through making the combined aroma reminiscent of a baked dessert.

Palate Underneath considerable heat, blackberries on a bed of sweet cream. A hint of plum and an even more atomic touch of peach. Densely fruity on the palate.

Finish Potent and lingering heat. The darker fruit notes remain accompanied by subtle bark tannins. Short-lived black pepper at the beginning of the swallow.

Story Late nights and dewy grass, monumental trees curving in the stormy wind. You find a warm, familiar thing in a foreign place. A Parisian cafe in the Amazon rainforest. An elderly woman who can’t speak your language but offers, “Tea?” The comfort of acquaintance. You see broken fences that nevertheless make your path plain—Are they really broken?
